Amused patrons get a second helping of John Pinette's hilarious hunger-based humor with his latest tour "I Still Say 'Nay Nay'".

The ‘big man’ of stand-up, John Pinette brings audiences to the brink of tears with his brand of comedy. His self-proclaimed ‘cherubic’ demeanor is easily riled when it comes to other people getting between him and his passion: food.

“Get Out of the Line!”

Taking from his life experiences John Pinette talks about his family, touring, traveling and even seeing his doctor with the recurring theme of eating. With over 15 years entertaining as a comedian he has a wide-ranging arsenal of anecdotal stories, many of which center around noshing.

His latest tour, I Still Say ‘Nay Nay’ is a continuation of the previous tour I Say ‘Nay Nay’, where John breaks down for audiences his biggest pet peeves. People that come between John and a snack when in line at places like Dairy Queen become fodder for his routine. He recounts moments of absolute horror as customers hum and haw over what to order while taking up valuable space at the counter.

An Appetite for Humor

The well loved comedian who enjoys his eats was not always an entertainer. Beginning his career as an accountant John Pinette carried a talent for comedy. It wasn’t until the Massachusetts native realized that he could be paid to make people laugh that he broke away from his dreary office job.

John Pinette found early on the success that is carrying his career today. Talented and recognized for his stand-up John was the American Comedy Awards Stand-Up Comedian of the Year for 1999 and was nominated for a Gemini Award for The Montreal Comedy Festival in 2000.

The funny man also has the honor of being a regular for The Tonight Show and The View. He even occasionally makes the leap to the big screen to lend his comedic talents to movies like The Punisher, Duets and Junior.

Rolling with Laughter

John Pinette’s 2009 I Still Say ‘Nay Nay’ tour brought him back to Calgary and on through Canada and the United States. Playing a larger venue, the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium, John endeared himself to a greater audience with his sweet face and juxtaposed devilish sense of humor. The fans experienced a full spectrum of laughter from giggles over shallots to guffaws for colon health. John Pinette’s real stories offer a familiarity and connection that draws his audience in and leaves them warmed and well entertained.

Always a guaranteed laugh, John Pinette is sure to satisfy. Fans should not miss the chance to enjoy his food filled and funny routine.
